The local bottle of red wine was another great touch. The photos of the property are very accurate but you can't truly appreciate how close to the water you are until you are on site, it really is only 15 ft away so you feel like you're right on top of the lake. "I had one of my most awesome stays over two nights at this very peaceful cabin. It's a comfortable 2-hour drive away from Chicago and once you get there, it is peace and quite. The log cabin has a welcoming smell to it. It's very clean, maintained and stocked very well. "We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner.
