"Great stay just outside Hokitika 5mins heading south. Cooking area was a bit spartan with old school hobs which worked ok. Food was nice great portions of blue cod and chips with salad . Friendly staff great location "

"Hotels.com app won't let me upload a photo so I can't show how beautiful the location is!! It is based in a beautiful and quiet location. Condition is OK, it does need a uplift as it is a little dated and tired however it is very clean and tidy. Laundry is free which is a nice bonus. Bathroom light had 2 light bulbs blown so this must have been faulty for sometime. I always like to leave the place better than what I found it so I replaced the bulbs!! Overall highly recommend and I would stay...

"It’s an acquired taste, bed is comfortable and it’s as clean as it can be, ( as there’s so much stuff, dolls, Knick- knacks) so if your looking for mod cons and clean lines, this is not for you, it has an outside bathroom, but totally undercover from the front door, so you won’t get wet if it rains and sadly it did a lot during our stay, so we didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as we’d like. Kath and Dan were very welcoming "
