"The Chombi House is the perfect place for a family or small group to have a relaxing retreat in the Peruvian jungle. Elmer is a very gracious host, and his family all participates in preparing and serving the meals in the common eating area. The bungalow is very comfortable and the pool is very welcome in the heat of the day. Elmer helped arrange taxis for our family both to and from the bungalow as it is too far from Puerto Maldonado to walk. Elmer has a pub on the yard where you can purchase drinks and snacks, and he can help arrange tours to the local sites if you don't already have something planned with another company. Overall a fantastic find that our entire family enjoyed thoroughly."
