"The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. "What a stunning cottage in the most beautiful area! And I cannot recommend Adrian and his daughter as hosts enough. The cottage was perfect for our family celebrations, had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean with fans provided for the warmer nights too, bonus! Also noted heaps of extra blankets for colder months too, nice touch. And the views were beautiful! We were lucky to have full use of all the areas as we were the only guests, we chose the allocated farmhouse BBQ area...

"Sea View cottage is a really nice place, its in an excellent location for Chisel beach, local shops and the rest of Portland, which was one of our main considerations, In fact we even walked to Weymouth. There is an outside sitting area but due to the windy weather we decided not to use it. We visited in early November and made good use of the wood burning stove in the evenings for that really cosy feeling. The host made everything so easy and were very accommodation. "Lovely clean, very well equipped cottage with a delightful garden. All our needs were catered for. The cottage is in a fabulous setting. Ideal location for walking our dog and a wonderful pub providing exceptional food within a few minutes stroll. Splendid National Trust property almost on the doorstep. Hope to return to the cottage before too long."

"Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"We had a wonderful weekend in Wimborne staying at the Town House. Communication from Claire was excellent and the house is as described. Everything was super clean and well maintained, the beds were comfy, showers were fantastic and the kitchen was well equipped. House is located in the heart of Wimborne and we enjoyed afternoons on the beach in Poole and mornings exploring the Stour Valley with the dog. Great meal at Wimborne Pig and cheese and wine at Renoufs Wine Bar. 100% recommend."

"This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place."
