"Great hotel based right near Portofino. Staff very friendly and helpful. They let us park the car in their car park to explore before we checked in. Recommend ferry to Portofino (hotel ideally based a few minutes walk to jetty). We walked back the 5km which is a beautiful route but a long way! Beautiful hotel with lovely looking facilities - we wished we were staying longer than one night."

"The location was perfect. We didnt access the beach as the weather was not right for it. It was rainy and umbrellas were available to borrow. Breakfast was good. Room was nice and spacious. We have a view of the ocean. Small shower. Nice ans spacious closet. Drinks at the rooftop are more expensive than at the regular bar and they are expensive already but the service is good. The aperitif is delicious. All and all we like the hotel and would stay there again."

"Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in a great central location and only minutes to the Bay of Silence and all the local restaurants. The room was comfortable, quite basic but had all we needed really. The shower was good and we had nice towels. We are used to staying in more modern hotels but this was more than adequate and made a nice change. The building is very beautiful. The breakfast was fairly simple but nice. We used the pool and that was lovely. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The overall price was good compared to other hotels in the area. We would return if we visited Sestri again."

The food at the restaurant is superb, including the extravagant breakfast buffet every morning. "This hotel is all you need in a very cosmopolitain area of Genoa, lots of walkable areas close to train stations amazing local markets close by, huge array of coffee bars wonderful bakery options delicious dining options every where, 5 stars from me, great little gym:) "

"The bartender/ server in the restaurant was very helpful, given that we were close to the time lunch was no longer being served. He also brought us a light snack in the evening when we went to the bar for a drink."
