"Katharina is a great hostess, she gave us some wonderful recommendations during our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean, even a sheet to sleep under, not just a duvet. You could make your own coffee, tea or hot chocolate and there were water bottles in the fridge. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Delicious fresh fruit salad and a large selection of cooked and cold food. We would most certainly stay here again."

"It is like stepping back in time 50 years ago. The family's favourite holiday hotel where one can still get personal attention and excellent service. We have had excellent meals at the lodge. The best grilled fish dish ever and the home made muesli at breakfast was so good. Although the service and value was like in the "old days" the furniture and fittings were new. I liked the quietness as the lodge is situated in a fynbos field with beautiful proteas. Only gripe was the the limited TV...

Wow .. an incredible experience and location

"Incredible setting over Gordon’s Bay. Fantastic service and hospitality. So many small details and exceptional quality, the sheets, the bathroom amenities, books galore, honesty bar and the best breakfast experience. I wish we’d stayed longer!"
