"Amazing place and outstanding service. The place is beautiful: elegant colonial building and the beautifully furnished rooms. We spent 4 nights at the spacious regatta suite. Breakfast was excellent and Denise was very kind - it was nice to dine together with the other guests and chat. The only downsides are that the place is located on a busy road across from a gas station. Yet, once you are inside you cannot hear that."

"Really lovely front desk and housekeeping staff, friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay, one bedroom apartment in main building. Very clean room even though some aspects of the room are getting a bit worn from age but it didn’t detract from our stay. Very comfortable bed. Tip, make sure you call the hotel at time of booking to reserve a parking spot onsite. Hotel is easy walking distance from Salamanca and waterfront. Would recommend this hotel. Thank you Woolstore staff :)"

"We had a very comfortable and quiet stay and received a free upgrade - thank you! The unit and apartment hotel is well equipped for cooking needs, plus has a laundry. They also have lots of brochures available. We left our car at the carpark and enjoyed Hobart by foot, so no driving hassles. It's very well located near attractive Battery Point, so great for a stroll to nearby cafes and an easy walk down to the harbour and Salamanca."
