"Our stay was excellent , our original room was having maintenance work done so we were upgraded to a Boutique suite which was beautiful , staff were excellent and friendly , evening meal in the restaurant was excellent with a nice atmosphere , and the breakfast was spot on and well organised with no queue for anything and was very calm , all in all a very nice stay."

The main problem was that we were ignored at breakfast and when we did get there attention and ordered they forgot to bring it to us.Also the toilet wouldn’t flush, the basin tap was loose on arrival and it took 2 days to get sorted."

Inside you can’t hear a thing and all bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlooking the fields to Banburgh Castle and the frame isles lighthouse. The property is in a convenient position to get to many places. Such as the Castle, Holy island, Seahouses and Berwick on Tweed. Good is excellent and the staff are great and friendly. Thanks "

The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."
