"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "

"Tides cottage was perfect. Everything needed was there plus some little extras. Clean and tidy perfect for us as a family. Parking was never an issue with just a short walk down some steps to the house. Centrally situated for all the places we wanted to visit- even the teens found something to do. to visit."

"The pictures don’t do this property justice. It’s even more amazing in person! It’s so spacious inside and the garden is lovely and big. The bedrooms were lovely and clean with fresh bedding. The bathroom has a lovely shower and separate bath with a good flow and temperature. The hand soap was quite low and when you pressed down it squirted quite far so be careful! "This is a great alternative to a city centre hotel, the cottage is very clean, quiet and within a short walk to all the attractions of Canterbury. I stayed with my wife and 2 children and we had all we needed for the weekend. Lindsay was a great host and communication was quick. We had no issues at all during our stay and would recommend this cottage."

"Sarah and her son were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely cottage in a great setting too. Good size and dog/family friendly. Comfy bed & sofa & the equipped kitchen was handy. Would certainly stay again!"

"This is a quirky old cottage situated in a beautiful and quiet part of Deal, very close to the beach and cycling/walking opportunities. We enjoyed many walks, cycle rides and swims as a result. We enjoyed our stay and were not too fazed by the steep stairs and low ceilings as we were expecting them. "The property is in a lovely holiday park and the surrounding area is great. The property itself is comfortable and fairly well equipped. The problem is that small changes could make it better. The tv is shocking, needs a new cable. I did contact the owner who said he would look in to it but this never happened. One of the mattresses in the twin room needs changing desperately, it completely sags in the middle and is not comfortable. There is also an electricity meter you have to feed £1 coins in...

"Firstly I need to say how wonderful Jim and Anita were and how welcoming they made us all feel. The location of Honey Pot Farm is stunning with views to take your breath away. The town of Hythe is a mere 10min drive and well worth a visit. We will most defiantly be going back 10/10"

"Bright and cosy stay in a one bed flat in a small terraced house. Lively high ceilings and view to the sea through the baw windows. It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate. Good prices, excellent communication, on-street parking and short stroll to the beach. "

"The hotel was welcoming. Phoned before hand .They put a room that meet my disablement made sure that i had a walk in shower. I found that i could acess all the hotel. The room was clean .the entertainment in the evening was good.i did not try the food. As i had eaten before i got there .and left very early. I shall return to this hotel"
