"We were booked into this hotel by Orbitz as part of a flight reservation, a hotel for a few hour stop prior to a 3:40 AM flight out of Lima Peru. The hotel had no record of our Orbitz reservation, and so would have charged us their full rate, rather than the highly discounted rate promised by Orbitz as part of the flight package. "Hostal Staffs are extremely friendly and willing to help you. The Hostal always has someone to open the door for you as soon as you ring the bell. You feel very safely to stay in this Hostal. It's about 10 minutes' walk to the main Plaza and everything else in City Center. It's an 8 minutes' walk to the Bus & Taxi station to go to Ollantaytambo and other cities near Cusco."

"The hotel is located in a safe and nice location. I had an issue with the room cleanliness the next day and the housekeeping staff came and cleaned it immediately and apologized for the inconvenience. The breakfast offers limited options and there was no English language description on several breakfast dishes which was inconvenient to non-Spanish guests. There is no room service for lunch and dinner. The front desk and security was professional and helpful. "

"The B&B El Olivar was fantastic. The room was clean and well appointed, the location of the B&B was nice, and most of all Joseph was a fantastic host. He was very helpful with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Joseph even helped us out on our return trip through Lima when we had a very long layover but weren't staying overnight.
