"Super hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a pool. The room had a balcony and working air conditioning. There is no EV charging on site but there's a McDonalds a very short distance away with rapid chargers. Really glad we found this hotel, it was an enjoyable stay. "

"We were in this part of the Pyrenees for the first time, and Aurelie and Jo made it very easy for us to find the most amazing Via Ferrata experience, pick the perfect beach, select the right restaurants, etc. The house offers everything one might need for a relaxing stay in the mountains, yet maintains the character of a gite. Strongly recommended. "

"Fab place. Need some money spend on the decor but actually that adds to the grandeur of the place. Great swimming, you could spend all day there. Lovely service, everyone smiling. Highly recommend!"

"Our extended family group (2 families + grandparent+visiting friends) had a fabulous stay at Martin's holiday home. The children in our group loved the pool and spent hours in it, while the adults especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful garden, all accompanied by the sound of fresh running water from the mountains. The many bedrooms are lovely and comfortable, the kitchen is large and a joy to cook in, and, again, the garden is idyllic. Martin himself is a fantastic host, kind and thoughtful, and he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. (He even pleasantly tolerated the children advising him to install a water park in the yard, an arcade in the house, etc. The adults did not agree with this advice.) The area has many attractions, including hikes, markets, beautiful nearby towns, vineyards, waterfalls, and more. A day trip to Collioures to swim in the Mediterranean was easy and fun, too. We did so many things in our two weeks, and Martin's historic hotel was the perfect home for us while we did them. We all highly recommend staying here and would ourselves love to do so again. "Characterful, spacious house, wonderful views of Canigou and the valley. Very helpful shop keepers and delightful little cafe - as we travelled by train and bus this was very useful. Very good walks from the village. Wonderful bird-life"

"I stayed for one night on a cycling trip. I was very happy with everything. Nadia met me at the door and explained everything nicely. She was able to provide secure storage for my bike around the corner from the property. The room was smartly furnished and a generous size. The breakfast, as noted by others, was delicious and extensive. It was a pleasure to share it with some other guests. Shops and centre ville are close by. I would definitely stay again."

"We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped in to dry our damp washing and then insisted upon taking us to Villafranc and a return at 5.00pm - would not accept any payments. All-round went beyond normal to hewlp and make our stay a delight."

"Lovely little house with everything we needed and an amazing cactus garden. Fantastic views and the village itself is beautiful. We were blessed with lovely weather which helped. Great location to explore from or just mooch around the village and surrounding hillsides. Footpaths are also good and easily accessible (perfect for dog walking). Hosts very considerate and informative. Loved it!"
