"Super hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a pool. The room had a balcony and working air conditioning. There is no EV charging on site but there's a McDonalds a very short distance away with rapid chargers. Really glad we found this hotel, it was an enjoyable stay. "

"We were in this part of the Pyrenees for the first time, and Aurelie and Jo made it very easy for us to find the most amazing Via Ferrata experience, pick the perfect beach, select the right restaurants, etc. The house offers everything one might need for a relaxing stay in the mountains, yet maintains the character of a gite. Strongly recommended. "

"The photos do not do the cottage justice. Nestled in the Pyrenees, this charming property is built on the remains of an old forge. The hosts live in the old Master’s house, while the holiday cottage is separated by ancient walls and accessed by an old cobbled path. History fills the entire property, and the current owners are ensuring that the sympathetic restoration continues. The cottage itself is three stories open plan and beautifully and tastefully decorated. There is a large master bed and sofa bed downstairs. It is perfect for couples or those with small children like ours (10 and 13, respectively). There is also good air conditioning. The cottage has its own grounds with high rustic walls all around. Even though it was sweltering when we visited, the house and its surroundings were cool because of the large amount of tree cover and being next to a stream. It felt very private, and we enjoyed bathing in the stream, playing croquet, cooking outdoors, and swinging in the hammock. There is lots to do in the local area, and a lot of lovely walks can be taken from the house. The hosts are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. It was a pleasure staying here, and we wish our hosts every success for the future. We feel lucky to have booked such a gem! "

"Our extended family group (2 families + grandparent+visiting friends) had a fabulous stay at Martin's holiday home. The children in our group loved the pool and spent hours in it, while the adults especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful garden, all accompanied by the sound of fresh running water from the mountains. The many bedrooms are lovely and comfortable, the kitchen is large and a joy to cook in, and, again, the garden is idyllic. Martin himself is a fantastic host, kind and thoughtful, and he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. (He even pleasantly tolerated the children advising him to install a water park in the yard, an arcade in the house, etc. The adults did not agree with this advice.) The area has many attractions, including hikes, markets, beautiful nearby towns, vineyards, waterfalls, and more. A day trip to Collioures to swim in the Mediterranean was easy and fun, too. We did so many things in our two weeks, and Martin's historic hotel was the perfect home for us while we did them. We all highly recommend staying here and would ourselves love to do so again. "I stayed for one night on a cycling trip. I was very happy with everything. Nadia met me at the door and explained everything nicely. She was able to provide secure storage for my bike around the corner from the property. The room was smartly furnished and a generous size. The breakfast, as noted by others, was delicious and extensive. It was a pleasure to share it with some other guests. Shops and centre ville are close by. I would definitely stay again."
