We felt mislead in that there was a beautiful balcony to enjoy (which we were looking forward to and specifically booked this place for), but the woman who ran the establishment was so strict and in our business that we felt extremely uncomfortable making any noise or enjoying the space. "The hotel Montemare exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredible, professional, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to tend to our every request whether it was a local guide or local hair salon. I would make but one suggestion, that they let visitors know it’s OK to stop on the road side and run in to lobby for assistance with luggage etc. We were hesitant to stop and ended up going down and around Positano a second time.
