"We really liked staying here. Spacious room, good air conditioning, great location, friendly staff, good breakfast included. It’s in the heart of the town but the street noise at night isn’t bad for sleeping and it’s on a main strip of shops. Views are amazing! We booked a city view but could still see the ocean. Would definitely recommend. Everything is a 10 minute walk away! Be prepared to do 10 minutes uphill from the ferry but it’s not that bad if you’re able to walk regularly without difficulty. Would definitely recommend a backpack or duffel. A little pricey but everything is pricey in Amalfi coast. Would recommend doing your research on where to eat and planning outings early. It feels like a small town and it does get a little old walking the shops over and over. There’s lots to do but good to look into it ahead as the crowds and choices can be overwhelming! Prices also differ so doing research online will help to compare prices. Also, don’t bother booking the beach clubs in May when it’s not that busy or hot yet. This hotel provides a beach towel per person and a beach bag and the public beach is right next to the beach club. You’ll save 60 euro by just not having a chair. This hotel was a great experience, we would stay again! Also, get a bottle of wine and some plastic cups; buying individual drinks is so expensive compared to bottles! "

"Hotel Maricanto in Positano, Italy was amazing. From check in to check out the staff provided top notch service. Paolo the concierge was marvelous with all the info he provided for our trip and the ladies at the desk helping. us out with the boat to Capri and scooter rental. They were there to truly make sure their customer enjoy every facet of their facilities and town. The breakfast was delicious and so were the views. The staff again exceptional! Our room was amazing to wake up to or just stay in. Definitely, coming back here. Thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable time."
