"Beautiful hotel. Such a bonus to have the free hour in the spa. Very clean and quiet throughout. Terrace would be lovely in the summer. "I loved my stay here and only wish it was longer. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful, everyone says hi as you walk through the hotel. The building is beautiful with sumptuous relaxing interior decor from the restaurant to the garden to the room. The room had everything I could need including a balcony with a view over the garden. And to top it all off there is a stylish relax spa with excellent massage and pleasant pool. "

The rooms are beautifully appointed with everything you could want (the only thing to note is that some rooms have the shower and sink in a loft space, so the stairs were a little challenging for my mother). "We arrived late and it was the night of the boss' wedding. Yeah, right. So we couldn't park the car in the underground garage at the Hotel but had to find a place on the street wherever I could. No restaurant for the night of course, you know, the wedding. A complimentary drink in exchange. Well, decide for yourself. Other than these it was a nice place, for one night we had to spend there."

"We had an excellent stay for two nights in a room of four. Great staff, great area, very easy to walk to everywhere. Good underground parking lot at less than five minute walk for 15 euros. Only downside for us is that the walls seem pretty thin so we could hear outside noise when there was some. To be expected in an old building. All in all, we had a very nice time in Ghent it is a great city."

"Smart and quite trendy renovation of old monastery. There was a cold tap alongside my wash basin but no hot tap. Very odd - perhaps a legacy from monastic times ! Ha ha. I was on first floor and never did find the toilet so I always have to go downstair to the first floor to the toilet. Perhaps there was hot water and a first floor toilet but never found them. "
