"We had a wonderful week in Cornwall with our daughter, son-in-law and Grandaughter. Seashells did not disappoint with having the added facilities of the Retallack resort to hand. Having a master bedroom upstairs for us and then the king bedroom and twin downstairs worked perfectly for us. Location in Cornwall allows access to everywhere"

"Booked this as a last minute alternative to a wet camping weekend which would allow our dog. And it turned out to be a lovely stay! Nice and clean, the prosecco in the fridge was a welcome find, and all facilities you want are there. You have to be aware this place is really out there in a rural area, nearest village is around 3 miles away and it's car, walk or taxi only, hence the 4 stars for that which you need to factor in if it suits you. "While the outside scenery of the property was beautiful the host was not helpful at all. In addition, I was asked to pay a security deposit amount prior to my visit, which I happily paid. But she kept it unfairly because she said she found a stain in the duvet! I am not sure what stain requires £50 to be washed. Even a new duvet cover doesn’t require £50! Also it’s extremely difficult to get transportation if you don’t have your own. We didn’t have our own transportation and had immense...

"We rented the summerhouse which was clean, welcoming and fairly well equipped. Self catering in such a small space was difficult but we took the view we wanted to experience food at the many restaurants nearby so not a major problem. The location was ideal for getting out and exploring parts of Cornwall we hadn’t seen before as well as being around an hour from the north coast. Communication from the host was very clear and easy to follow to find the property and parking. Would definitely recommend."
