"When we arrived our original accommodation was no longer available due to essential work going on. Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable. Made every effort to turn situation round. "

"Had a brilliant week at this cottage after a rather bad start, I was given the wrong key codes on my paperwork and i could not access the cottage, on phone for over 20 minutes on hold to try to get it sorted but no one was answering the phone. Eventually rang an emergency number and the guy came around to the cottage to sort it, he rang the office got straight through and we had the wrong code to get the keys. Also the property was not thoroughly cleaned even with COVID, dead flies all over...
