"There was a hurricane this day, not VVF's fault indeed. Quite a few things might have gone better though : We arrived at 4:15pm and the reception was supposed to be closed. Fortunately, someone (friendly) was there to help. However, the room was not ready until after 5pm. The parking is far from most cottages and we had to walk under the torrential rain & wind :-( No soap in the cottage. "I specifically booked this hotel as on the website the restaurant showed that the restaurant was open on a Sunday evening and served lovely fish. I even messaged asking to reserve a table. However, after a long drive, on arrival we were told it was not open which was very disappointing and annoying.
