"Had a great time at this cottage. Convenient location in between Michigan City and Chesterton. Plenty of space and large fenced in back yard. Right on W. Dunes Highway, so super easy to get anywhere. Kitchen was fully stocked to cook our own meals and 3 different areas for people to watch tv. Never felt like we were on top of each other, Had a great holiday weekend stay!"

"The house was clean and quite adequate for our 3 day stay. We met Mr. Marshall when we arrived (he was there with a crew working on furniture and some repairs). He was very pleasant, as was the crew. We like to cook for ourselves. The stove was not completely functional -- shelves do not fit, and the interior needs a good cleaning. The towel rack above the second floor bathroom toilet is pulling of the wall and could use some attention. Rick Ginther (for the Ginther Siblings)"

"If you are travelling with a big group, this is good house to stay at. We had 5 families with kids and we fit comfortably. The house was clean and has all you need. Host is responsive and very helpful. "

"We recently stayed at the Valhalla! The home was exactly has described and was even decorated for Christmas! Any questions we had were promptly answered by Anders. Cozy fireplace and plenty of games for us to use along with a pool table in the basement. We are hoping to visit another time! "

"My stay was relaxing the bed were very comfortable, Wasn’t please with the entertainment room being in the garage no heater for the winter however for the summer it would be nice. Over all the place was roomy it had all utilities for a kitchen. Plenty of extra blankets. It was a lot of blue tape on the walls where repairs were being done but it didn’t interfere with our stay. "We enjoyed having a family meet-up at the Dunes Home. The days ended up being extremely rainy, so we didn't have the chance to enjoy the backyard or visit the Dunes. The location was so close to downtown, so the adults were able to go down and sample at the winery. House had great accommodations for us to fit in comfortably and cooks and eat in-house. . "

"We rented this beautiful home for my daughter's wedding weekend at the Allure. It was clean, well laid out, and extremely convenient to the venue. Kayla, the owner, was beyond wonderful. She was quick with her responses and helpful in providing suggestions to my inquiries. She always ended her responses by saying, "Let me know if there is anything else I can answer or do for you." The master bedroom made the perfect backdrop for pictures with my daughter's wedding dress and the jacuzzi...

"Wonderful family holiday stay! Property is clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. Neighborhood is safe and convenient, and our dogs enjoyed walking the paths along the river. Easy access to the South Shore Line which takes you to downtown Chicago or the Indiana Dunes. MUST easts include Schoop Burgers in Munster and Rico's Pizza in Lansing!"
