"I traveled from 5hrs south to attend a funeral service the following morning and arrived after 11pm. The instructions were clear and easy to retrieve the key for the room. I never saw one person since I left fairly early around 8:30am. There wasn’t much for breakfast but I didn’t expect much since it’s probably their off season and it didn’t seem there were many people at the hotel. The only complaint I had was that the room was so incredibly cold maybe 30 to 40° No heat was turned on. There were two monitor heaters in the room and it took a while to warm up so I sat in my vehicle for about 20minutes while I waited. By morning it was cozy and warm. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very very comfortable! I would definitely stay again but I’d call ahead to make sure someone turned the heat on…even just at 60 or 65° would be acceptable. "

"Last week, my family and I stayed at Birchfield Farm Apartment for two nights, and it surpassed all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Denise and Bruce made us feel welcome with a warm greeting and a personal tour of their beautiful farm and charming animals. My daughter instantly bonded with their adorable puppy, which became a highlight of her trip.The apartment was cozy and thoughtfully designed with a farm-inspired theme. While it didn’t have a full kitchenette, it included a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and a variety of coffee flavors, hot chocolate, utensils, bottled water, and welcome treats. Nestled in the heart of the farm, it had all the comforts we needed: high-speed Wi-Fi, plush beds, immaculate toiletries, and an extra foldable bed with plenty of bedding. The sunroom offered breathtaking views, especially at sunset. A special moment was when my daughter spotted an owl outside and captured a magical photo.Denise and Bruce’s hospitality was outstanding. They generously involved my daughter in farm activities, where she cared for the animals, took photos, and even rode a horse despite the chilly weather. We also enjoyed a day trip to Camden Snow Bowl, only 30 minutes away, for skiing. Denise gifted us fresh eggs and even offered to extend our stay due to weather—a gesture that felt like family.The farm's serene countryside setting was perfect for both relaxation and exploring nearby attractions. I highly recommend Birchfield Farm"
