"We booked this property for two nights for our family of five and were impressed with the beauty of the island and the lake. The main house was well done with great attention to detail and many amenities to make our stay more comfortable. It's worth noting that this property is, in my mind, very remote and requires traveling 20km on logging roads (45 minutes driving confirmed by GPS) with only one other property along the way (that we could see) and no cell phone service. "Everywhere on this island tends towards natural BC beauty. Manna House is the west coast curated by a landscape artist surrounded by a cutting edge spa. My Scandinavian soul was in heaven in the ocean beach sauna. Looking forward to returning midwinter. Woke up in the middle of the night looking straight up into starry starry night. "This is the second time we stayed at Manna house, the other being in the summer and it was another wonderful stay. Both stays were lovely, our favourite however was our winter stay as there was a real feeling of coziness as the snow was on the ground as we looked over the water from the cedar hot tub. We are looking forward to returning soon :)"

"We stayed for 11 days in this adorable Parksville cottage. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and is tastefully decorated with plenty of space to spread out. The pool and hottub are nearby and well kept. The location is very close to Rathtrevor beach, and a short drive from most of the popular local attractions. With little kids, the splash park was a big hit! We would love to come back!"

"clean unit with recent updates. staff were helpful and very friendly. great for smaller children and young teens. some of the campsites seem unkept in relation to the rest of the property. we watched them clean the pool which due to our short stay we didnt get to use."
