Expansive Retreat - All-Season Contemporary Farmhouse [Lakes & Mountains]

Great place for a family gathering

"This was a great property for bringing together the 3 generations of the family! Plenty of open area for talking, playing, eating etc. and a great location for making the most of the Maine lakes region. My favorite thing was the very long dining table that could seat all 14 of us for meals as well as facilitate multiple board games at once."

Own little piece of heaven.

"Our stay at the Sorgenfrei cottage was like a little piece of heaven. The best feature for us was the view of Long Lake from the wall of windows, the dock and the patio by the dock. The cottage itself was vintage and charming. A little upgrade to the kitchen would give it 5 stars for us. e"

Great House with Lots of Space

"The Deck House was a great spot for our family vacation this year. We had a large group of adults + 1 baby and there was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals with two fridges and a large range/oven. Lots of space for yard games and great fishing and kayaking spot. Everything was clean and beds were very comfortable. "

A wonderful 2024 Family Vacation

"We have been renting on Long Lake for many years and were so happy that we found this cottage for our family this year. The cottage was better than advertised. All of the accommodations you could possibly need. The location on the lake is also amazing! We spent endless hours on the great dock and using the swim raft. The sunsets across the lake were also incredible! We hope to return again next year!"

Great stay

"Only issue is no access to breaker box so microwave didn’t work and we eventually found an extension cord but I also rent a home and we are available to get in touch with and give access to the fuse box. We tried to get help and didn’t get anywhere and no one local every responded."
