Waterfront Home on Long Lake

Come Experience one of Maine's most popular lakes! Beautifully renovated, lake-front two-story house in Bridgton, ME., on Long Lake. This comfortable and welcoming home is available for year-round vacation rental and is situated on a private dead-end road with a large yard and steps away from the water. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating, skiing, snowmobiling and relaxing with friends and family on our private dock. This lake house is perfect for small & large families; featuring 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a finished basement that we like to call The Kid Zone! Plenty of space for all and comfortably sleeps 11 people. (Max amount of guests is 11, No parties, minimum 7 day rental.)

The main living space has cathedral ceilings, huge windows with plenty of sunlight, and a relaxing view of Long Lake. A cozy living room with plenty of seating for all with a large smart TV over the fireplace. Enjoy your morning coffee from one of the rocking, swivel chairs while watching the sunrise. The dining area seats 10 people comfortably with an additional two chairs right at the bar. The kitchen has all the tools you need to cook the perfect meal should you want to stay in for the night. Right off the Living room & Kitchen, you will find three guest rooms each with its own king-size bed, dresser, smart tv and views of Long Lake. There are two full bathrooms with walk-in showers. The fully finished basement "Kid Zone" has two sections. The sleeping section where you will find three twin beds and one bunk bed and then the entertainment area where you will find a large sectional couch, smart TV, books and games and puzzles. Down the hall, a washer and dryer is available because who wants to go home to do laundry? And lastly, there is another full bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

Every room of the house has a view of Long Lake and each level has direct access to the outdoors where you are sure to have some fun in the sun. Enjoy spending time with the family down on the dock where you can swim, float or kayak. Have a boat? Launch it a few hundred yards down the road at the public boat launch and enjoy a day out on the water. Enjoy the spacious front lawn for yard games during the day and enjoy the fire pit in the backyard at night while roasting marshmallows.

Fantastic stay at the lake!
The property was beautiful and the location was great. The house had plenty of space and everything we needed and more. We had a wonderful week with our family despite the cool and rainy weather. Fabulous!
We loved our stay on Long Lake and everything the Breton Home had to offer. There was a total of 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 children. There was ample room for food storage, and the kitchen supplied us with everything we needed. There was even an extra refrigerator in the garage. The home had three comfortable king size beds. The children slept on the first floor in twin beds. They had their own bathroom and space. The AC was cool at night and we had additional fans. The house was very clean and felt newly remodeled. We never ran out of hot water. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit, watching the sunrise, sitting on the porch reading or visiting with family, and kayaking to the little “island” nearby. The home came equipped with three kayaks. We rented jet skis at one end of the lake and rode them back to the home. Several of us swam across the lake (and back) in the early morning when the lake was still and there was very little water traffic. The water temperature was perfect for this (mid to upper 70’s). At night, the only noise we heard was nature. Molly was quick to answer any questions we had and was a pleasure to work with. We literally had a perfect vacation - it was a magical time!

Annual Summer Getaway
We love our annual week at Molly and Benn's lake house. The kids look forward to making the "Kid Zone" their own and the grownups always enjoy game nights upstairs. The lake is wonderful and shallow enough that the kids can play without worrying about swim aids. The new fire pit and deck furniture were beautiful improvements but we already thought the spot was perfect. We are already looking forward to our stay in 2022.

Molly’s lake house is warm, cozy ,& super clean. It was a perfect spot for our family lake vacation. Quality beds & beds linens were much appreciated after long days on the lake. We made good use of the well stocked kitchen. Quiet location, convenient to town, & great waterfront. We especially enjoyed all the comfortable outdoor furniture. We rented a pontoon boat & used the provided canoe& kayaks. Our kids are teens and having their own space on the lower level was great! Would definitely rent again….

Spectacular home
This house is beautiful. Everything is very clean, tastefully furnished. The bedding is VERY comfortable and the set up of the house gives privacy to all. The yard is perfect for hanging out and the fire pit provides fun for the evening. The only two negatives are things that are not controlled by the owner (who is so easy to deal with and was very responsive). The neighbor is "grumpy". You must be careful not to walk onto their property ~ even for a minute. They are vigilant! If you are a loud evening group this will not be a good situation for you. We are in bed by 10, so it was not an issue. However, our teens were yelled at for walking onto their yard. Secondly, the water is VERY shallow at the dock. If you have a pontoon boat it will be fine. We have a 22.5 foot boat and we hit bottom several times going in and out. Again, both of these are not under the control of the owner. EVERYTHING and anything that could be done by the owners has been done. The house, yard, amenities, furnishings, set up, kitchen ~ all 10 plus! If you are a group looking to spend a quiet and wonderful week on the lake this house is perfect.

Magical winter escape to a cozy beautiful lake house near the mountains
Our family of eight spent school vacation week in a winter wonderland! We skied, went snowshoeing, ice fished and more just a stone’s throw from this lovely renovated lake house! We loved the views! The well-stocked kitchen was fabulous! The bedrooms were super comfortable! We loved the generous open space to just hang out! And, the owners went the extra mile to ensure that we had everything we needed and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. We hope to go back again and highly recommend this five-star property to others!

Festive Family Christmas Getaway
Owner decorated the house for Christmas. She was articulate about the house rule and warmly inviting. The inside of the house was recently renovated and appointed. We were pleased to spend the week together in a thoughtfully arranged home with the rental basics and many added details. We recommend it to you.

Beautiful House and Great Location
We were two families with two kids each, aged 1, 3, 5, and 7. All of us had a great week in the house. The interior is newly renovated and it felt very clean and cozy. Molly did a great job with the house. The beds, pillows and linens were all very clean and comfortable so everyone slept well. The location of the house is great as well. It's within driving distance to many points of interest as we were able to take day trips to Mt. Washington, Portland, Naples, and a nearby zoo. If you're not out and about the house is a perfect place to just relax and soak in the peacefulness of the area. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to get away from the daily stresses of life (even if you're with young kids).

Beautiful and cozy for all ages
I spent a wonderful fall weekend here with my parents and two children. The town itself is very cute and the house was just beautiful but still cozy for my two little ones. We spent time exploring nearby but also ventured out not more than an hour away for apple picking and some pumpkin farm fun. Perfect set up for cooking at home every night and sitting around the fire pit. My kids enjoyed playing on the dock surrounded by the gorgeous lake and fall foliage. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. I will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely on Long Lake!
We spent four days at Molly and Benn’s lovely home. We appreciated the personalized warm welcome at check in. The interior of the home is peaceful and clean. There was plenty of room for our two families to spread out. Our kids absolutely loved the “kid zone”! Long lake is a special place and Molly and Benn’s home is a perfect place to relax and enjoy all the area has to offer.

Gorgeous!
We had such a lovely stay at the Breton Lake House. Molly and Benn have thought of everything to make their home feel welcoming and your stay feel like a real vacation. We steamed lobsters, had s'mores by the fire, went kayaking, and canoeing, had coffee on the deck, and could not get enough of the view. Thank you!!

Perfect spot for family getaway
The Breton Lake House was the perfect spot for our annual family getaway. With 6 adults and 5 growing children, we were looking for a location with beds for everyone and a nice lake location. We were delighted to find so much more in Molly's home - a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals for 11 people, gorgeous linens and furnishings and beds so comfortable you'll want to sleep in every morning, smart TVs for keeping the kids entertained on those rainy afternoons or early mornings....we couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend our week together. We look forward to returning next summer!

Perfect family vacation!
The Breton Lake home was perfect for our family vacation! Molly was such a gracious host and the house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed and more. The downstairs kid zone was perfect since our boys (age 3 and 5) wake up early and the three bedrooms upstairs are very plush with all the comforts of home. We had several camp fires, enjoyed lots of time swimming of the dock, morning kayak rides and paddles over to the sandbar. We couldn’t have asked for more and hope to come back again next year.

The best house you can rent on Long Lake
Over the years we’ve Rented many vacation homes, and this was by far our best experience ever. That great experience starts and ends with Owner manager Molly Breton. Molly caters to her guests by making sure her house is completely ready to be enjoyed from the day you arrive to the day you leave. The house is immaculate, and so well set up for enjoyment that I don’t believe there was one thing that we needed that we couldn’t find conveniently. The property is great, The house is large and able to sleep many, the views are fantastic, the water is calm and enjoyable. I don’t want to overdo it with this review I’m afraid I won’t be able to get a reservation next year! You can’t go wrong renting this house.
