"Hubby and I wanted a cute getaway for thanksgiving weekend, and this little cabin was perfect. Secluded but still close enough to civilization. The hot tub was wonderful. We unfortunately never got to use the fire pit - just a bit too cold out for us. Space is great. There is a pretty close neighbor, but it didn’t impact our stay at all, and we basically forgot the house was there. The road to the cabin is unpaved so 4WD is probably a good idea. Very cute place "

"This house is such a good use of space! We were a family of 8 and we fit perfect and even had an extra bed. The central space is nice to gather and the deck was lovely. This was a quick walk to the water and central to everything we wanted to do in the area. Heather was super responsive and wonderful to work with! "Quirky, spacious house with plenty of bedrooms and several kitchens/sinks with the in law apartment. Big table for eating and games by a wood stove. Game room is great for kids (and nerf gun battles). We were there in several snow and ice storms but managed to squeeze in some hot tub time. Communication with the property manager was excellent. "

"The stay at Bella Vista was everything as advertised! The place was clean, peaceful and close to community amenities. We enjoyed the fireplace and watching the deer walk by the windows and driveway. "When we arrived at Big Bear Chalet we couldn’t believe the spaciousness as well as cleanliness of this home. The description was spot on! Nothing was left out, every amenity listed was in the home and then some! We were a total of 6 adults, a toddler and a baby as well as my daughter’s beagle. Loved every moment and hope to be back next year. Even the weather didn’t deter us from having a good time. "
