"B&B Elena is a really nice, charming place to stay. The owner is lovely and so helpful. Breakfast is good. The room we were in was very pleasant, though the shower was a bit cramped. There was tea and coffee and biscuits, and even a fridge and microwave. The house is within about 15 minutes walk from both the centre of Pompeii and the excavations, making it an ideal spot to stay if you want to see the sights or take a train to Naples or Sorrento. "

"Easy to find and great location for train and bus stops and Pompeii ruins themselves. Lovely lemon grove garden to sit out in. Unfortunately we had a noisy neighbour and had to get reception to ask them to be quiet. Very cheap restaurant a few doors down with drinkable sparkling wine for €8 a bottle. Huge pizzas too."

"The hotel is in great location to Pompei Ruins entrance which is just across the road. The breakfast is really nice and the staff really helpful. Only downside is other guests coming back to their rooms late at night being noisy."

"I thought I had revieeed at the time - the hotel came to our rescue after being let down by a nearby bed and breakfast. I haven’t booked last minute before but everything went perfectly. Very helpful staff. "

"This is a wonderful place.. Beautiful and the best food we've eaten in Italy.. The room was very comfortable, clean and well provided for. The couple that run the place are very, very friendly.. The train/ruins are about a 15min walk.. There is a decent slope to the hotel.. but if I (66) and my brother (78) could get up the hill back to the Hotel from our visit to Pompii.. You can also! Wish we could've stayed longer.. If I ever get back to Pompii this would be my choice.. "

"Villa Magiola is a lovely modern, clean, apartment style accomodation, easily walkable to all three entrances of the Pompeii Archeological Park (so long as you don't have mobility issues). There are plenty of restaurants within longish walking distance if you don't want to cook. Self check in was easy. "The staff were incredibly helpful - ordering taxis for us in the mornings and assiting our friend with booking a bus ride home. The rooftop bar is lovely and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. The complementary breakfast was also wonderful. Highly recommend a stay here! "

"The campground had a nice restaurant and laundry room, and transportation to town on bus lines and taxis. The cabins were comfortable and the views over the bay were great! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the campground!"

The Grand experience!

"The best part of my 11 day trip to Italy, was my 3 night stay at Grand Hotel Vesuvio, Naples. The service and cleanliness of the hotel is perfecto! The staff goes beyond what is expected to make sure you have the best experience while at their hotel. I will definitely be coming back! This hotel is nestled on a strip with wonderful restaurants and shopping with in walking distance. "

"The staff as a whole were very welcoming and accomodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, extremely clean, had eco friendly sustainable initiatives in place, and location wise, was a 15 minute walk to Sorrento downtown (we thought that was convenient). We didnt have any issues with the wifi or the high tech lighting. If we could, we would definitely return for another stay. "

Great Amalfi Hotel

"We stayed in the studio apartment which was expensive but beautiful. Our weather was rainy so the apartment worked out well as we spent more time in the room than normal. Apartment was spacious (2 double beds), great view & wonderful balcony. Hotel location, staff attentiveness, breakfast, everything was fantastic. "
