The stairs are steep to get to the room. Don’t bring large baggage unless you are very strong. No handicap access."

On arrival, don’t follow map directions from app: they took us to train station (Casale Etrusco, to use name of establishment, is located at beginning of Via della Badia, just north of Donoratico, at km 266.15 on Vecchia Aurelia). No response on mobile number provided. Apartment clean but could be freshened up. Good wardrobe space in main bedroom. Beds reasonably comfortable and quality linen and towels, with complete clean set after 5 days. Kitchen...

"Cute b&b. Francesco was very nice, he didn’t speak much English but used google translate so we could understand all the details. I speak some Italian & could understand 90% of what he said without translation. They have a little breakfast nook in the room along with some fresh food outside on the patio. "Castelfalfi is a tucked away paradise in Tuscany. I was genuinely wowed from the moment I stepped in the lobby. Besides the beautiful views and the amazing rooms, one of the best parts was the service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, at home, and fully taken care of. The little details and surprises every day were amazing. Thank you Benjamin for upholding the perfection of hospitality! I would also like to call out the restaurant thats right in the hotel. Every dinner was spectacular. The specials each night were to die for!! I am normally not a big hotel breakfast girl but everything was amazing each morning and they remembered all of my preferences after day one. I recommend doing the wine tour early in your stay so you can try all of their wines made on property, pick your favs, and order them throughout your stay. Lastly the spa is beautiful and the massages are so professional and well done! "
