"We were there for 2 nights for a show at the theater across the street. if you are going to the Golden State Theater, this hotel is perfect. I will note that the water pressure (3rd floor) is very week and the toilet plugged once. lastly, the WiFi sucked! That said, it was during the December storm that knocked out power to 10's of thousands so this may hve had an effect. "

"The pros: great beach location. If you like walks on the beach, this place is great. The TV in the room was excellent and the beds were comfortable. Great staff. The cons: small room with very little surfaces to put your stuff. No bathrobes or slippers. Bathroom was very small. No grab handles in the bathtub, I almost slipped a few times when taking showers. Restaurant food was okay, nothing special. Poor signage in the corridors for the stairs."

"The newly renovated hotel is such a beautiful property! They did updates without changing the feel of the hotel. The extra touches they provide makes staying there a joy! I honestly have no complaints. The breakfast that is included is by far the best one I have enjoyed in a long time! Most included breakfasts are lacking but this was delicious and such a wonderful surprise. The array of folks staying there were all also friendly. The hotel is the best of both worlds and its close to the beach...
