"This was our fourth summer vacation in northern Michigan, and probably our favorite location of them all. Crystal Lake is truly beautiful, and this property was a great accommodation for our group of 9. The home was very clean, well-stocked and comfortable. Having two separate living rooms was a big plus for our large family, and the huge outdoor covered deck (with hot tub and fire pit) was a big hit with everyone…. In fact, we did most of our evening meals on that deck. Our adult kids loved the property’s canoes & kayaks, especially since the water was still a bit too cold for swimming. And the fishing was decent…. We caught enough big smallmouth bass for two meals. Unlike many other rentals, this property offers lots of privacy, and also has lots of room for parking if you are coming with multiple vehicles."

"We have been coming to the Frankfort area for years, but we have never had a more perfect stay than we did at Griners. If I could have given this rental more than 5 stars, I would have! The setting is truly amazing. Secluded with a gorgeous private beach and sand dunes that left us in awe. The house was spotless and it was so well equipped, we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and every bedroom having an en suite bathroom was a real plus. Check in and communication was excellent. We will look forward to a return visit!"

"Clean, comfy beds. Good space all around. A couple inaccuracies in the listing. When they say “wood provided” for the fireplace they mean 3 logs. They also said beach access was 1/4 mile away, it’s 1.5 miles away."
Crystal Lake Paradise - Gorgeous Lakefront Luxury!

"The house was fantastic, sprawling with a lot of areas to spend time with our family members who came in from another state to catch up. Very comfortable and well stocked. Across a not-very-busy-street from the lake, there are very few homes that are actually on the lake. Frankfort is super close and has a nice assortment of restaurants and shops for a little lakefront town its size. The lake was beautiful and we heard that it has a lot of fish in it - we may have to bring our boat next time and get on the water. A good base to check out Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and all the cherry/apple/wineries/farms/lighthouses/etc. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back."
