"As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. When we called her again a little later first she wouldn’t pick up, then proceeded to yell at us. At this point we just left the apartment and checked into a different hotel. "We enjoyed staying at this lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. It has been tastefully renovated; everything is in its place and is of excellent quality. We enjoyed the kitchen/sitting area setup - especially the variety of snacks and tea and coffee. Having a washing machine is a bonus. Just be aware that your clothes must air dry. Communication with the property manager was exceptional and we felt well looked after during our stay. "

"Great communication by owner up until arrival. Once issues were idetfied and arose it became sporradic and no one showed up to take care of the issues. Apartment was not cleaned for what seems like weeks prior our arrival. Really filthy. Once escalated we had to stay behind and deal with cleaning staff ourselves rather than owner. Couch/bed was broken upon arrival and never fixed. So listed three beds were never actually available."

"We visited Bologna for a couple of days, and this home was a lovely spot to stay at. It is near the airport but there is very little noise. Driving past the roundabout for the airport can be a little daunting, but no more than driving elsewhere in Italy! The house is beautifully decorated with art from the owners travels around the world and the home itself is very serene. The owner was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our visit very much."

"Residenza Ariosto is an excellent place to stay in Bologna. The apartment is not luxurious but is clean ,comfortable and has everything you need. The apartments in via Marsala are in a great position to explore and enjoy Bologna. Instructions for check in are clear. This is our second stay and we highly recommend."

Can I Just Move In Already?

"I flipping love this place. The Social Hub is everything I never knew I needed in a stay—sustainability, community, and comfort, all in one incredibly well-thought-out space. Let’s start with the bed—oh my God, the most comfortable thing ever, with so many pillows to curl up in. The room temperature was spot on, and when I turned the lights off, it was pitch black, which made for the best sleep ever. I also loved all the thoughtful details, like the water tracker in the shower, the sustainable toilet paper, and even the condoms in the room (nice touch!). But what truly sets The Social Hub apart is the community focus. As a solo traveler, I really appreciate places where you can meet people outside of the usual drinking culture. There were so many cool events and opportunities to connect with others in a meaningful way. I just wish I had known about them in advance so I could have planned to attend! The staff were beyond lovely—friendly, welcoming, and just radiating good vibes. The location was perfect, super close to the train station, and I felt safe walking back at night. Only tiny bit of feedback? I really wanted to swim, and I wish I’d been told in advance that the pool wasn’t open. Also, can we please get more Social Hubs in other cities? Because I would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat. This place is just so my vibe—a perfect mix of sustainability, comfort, and social connection. If you’re even thinking about booking, just do it. You won’t regret it."
