"The location is perfect, If you are a Death in Paradise fan, then this spot is closest to all the main filming locations. The house had AC in the bedrooms which made sleeping comfortable. The living area can be opened up on all sides to catch a breeze. We watched a turtle from the covered deck, that came up the beach to lay eggs right in front of us. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"

"This property was was just what we were looking for. Lots of space to relax and get together and still be able to have quiet time alone. The view is awesome, you can see a long way! Up on the hill so you get great breezes which is nice when it get hot - pool is a blessing at this time as well. "We enjoyed a very restful vacation at the Villa Ponm Kann 'L in Deshaies. The view was lovely. The house was very clean and well equipped. The covered deck was an added bonus as unfortunately we had rain almost everyday but we were able to be outside with out getting wet. Easy walk to the bakery. We felt very safe and quiet in the neighborhood. A car is required to get groceries and go to the beaches and other activities. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Nid. The property itself is great for families or medium sized groups. The living space is large and airy. The kitchen has all the stuff needed to cook a meal. The beds were adequate and AC made the bedrooms comfortable to sleep in. The outdoor spaces is what make this house special. "Louise et Max sont des hôtes exceptionnels, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans leurs petits coins de paradis. Même si nous nous trouvions dans leur cours, c’est très privé et ils sont très discrets. L’endroit est encore plus beau en personne que sur les photos. L’emplacement se trouve au bout d’un chemin ou il n’y a pas de trafic. On entend que des bruits de campagne. C’est assez central pour facilement visiter Grande-Terre et Basse-Terre. "The property is in a lively spot but at the top of a steep ramp. Some of the paintwork around the doors would do with a touch up but the kitchen is fairly modern and well equipped. A teapot for English visitors would be appreciated. :-) Notes on recycling and bin days would have been helpful although Laetitia did mention it. Having something written down would have helped. Fresh sheets and towels after the first week of a two week stay should have been standard (we had to ask for them). Lovely...
