"We arrived onsite to have the front door lock be broken, there was mold on the bannisters, there was water stains in several rooms, and bug beds in the new matresses. We brought all of this up to the property manager and he made excuses for everything, did not offer to clean or fix any of the problems and we have not been able to get in contact with him any more. Have put a complaint in with VRBO and waiting to hear from them. This place was not in a condition for us to stay and we ended up...

"We had a wonderful time at mt aurora lodge. Kate and Jeff are hospitable and knowledgeable about aurora timing and woke us up immediately when the aurora showed up during the night. Seeing the northern light is breathtaking experience! Although the level is 2, we can clearly see the northern light due to clear and dark sky. Breakfast has Muffin, toast, egg, beacon, juice, milk. "We had an amazing time at this wonderful property. The cabin fit two adult couples very well and we had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive throughout. Then beyond the beautiful space, we had the BEST time meeting the sled dogs and learning all about life in the area. We would absolutely stay again!"

"The communication with the host was excellent from booking through departure. The cabin was perfect for our family of four and has everything you will need. The view from the property is gorgeous and would be perfect any time of year. On a clear night, it felt like you were sitting among the stars and not under them. Additionally- You will not find a better sled dog experience in all of Alaska!! It was simply the best!"
