"Beautiful place with friendly staff"

"We rented Hermosa House for a destination wedding with our dearest friends and family members. Julie and her crew made it the perfect wedding and mini getaway for our guests! Everyone is still talking about how amazing their experience at Hermosa House was and can’t wait to go back! It was the most relaxing and stress free wedding weekend. They took care of everything from excursions to food when needed.The staff was knowledgeable about the local restaurants, events and all smiles and friendliness. Walks on the beach in the mornings and evenings were a highlight, as well as lounging around the pool and walking on the beach to local restaurants. This is a must stay, especially if you are planning an event."

"The beach and area around the hotel is gorgeous. Manglar next door was amazing for dinner but the Mexican in the hotel and pool food was perfect! Casino is pretty and quaint, u can walk to Jaco town but transportation is so easy! Clean room nice people. Enjoyed it"

"This is my 3rd trip to Balcon Del Mar. ( in the middle of a name change to Paradise Jaco Beach). I love that it’s right on the sand. It’s a small resort and by then end of the week you know the staff, they are wonderful. Breakfast every morning included is also nice. "

"Is not a fancy hotel. however, has everything you need, clean, good air conditioning and hot water. Pool is perfect, walk easy to the beach. Restaurant and bar near the pool. The restaurant has good food but not a big selection but you always can order out to be deliver. Do not let the entrance turn you off. Is a really good small hotel."

"We loved our stay at Pumillo Mountain and Beach Resort. We couldn't see the beach from the resort but we really enjoyed the forest- like setting. The rooms were comfortable with a great view of the pool and the foliage. The pool was refreshing, the massages were reasonably priced and incredibly relaxing ( and the massages are done in a beautiful pagoda like structure surrounded by foliage). The dinner and breakfast were very good, as was the service. We will definitely be back!!"
