Pros: views and nature (of course), pool, spacious layout, modern kitchen, close to Jaco/Playa Hermosa, gated property Cons: road leading to home can be intimidating if you are not good with steep driving/blind turns, ants around tub, generally worn down kitchen cookware and pool chairs, some bathroom fixtures not properly secured to the wall, be on the lookout for lizard poop

Beautiful spot in wonderful location
Absolutely gorgeous property! The views are incredible and we saw exotic birds and iguanas! The property is very secure and the owners will assist you in activities and dining options. Highly recommend!

CR Family Trip
House is great and great location for us. We had a full time driver and everyday went on different adventures. The house is only 14 minutes from Downtown Jaco and 45 minutes to Quepos. Only had one issue - the house lost water for around 6 hours - but it was a city issue not just the house. I'd do it again.

Hideaway with beautiful views
This home is just as beautiful as the pictures. Inside and outside. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing from the inside view or outside in the pool or deck. Rooms were clean. Only thing to be aware of are geckos which are common in the country all around. They sometimes slip in the home and may alarm you but are harmless and disappear. It’s a little challenging to find the property on some gps so we used the wipeout hostel as our guide to the entrance road. Overall great stay!

Great views with clean and safe property.
The property is really nice. Home was clean and mostly functional. We had a broken shower head and some blinds. They said the blinds were broken by a previous guest and would be fixed, but no timeline. With the amount of windows this property needs functional blinds. The shower head made taking a shower troublesome because it sprayed water everywhere. The kitchen had all the dishes and utensils to cook. TV and WiFi worked great. The views from the house and pool area are fantastic. We had no issue with pests. The security gate getting to the house was always occupied and quick to let us in or out. The road getting up to the house was a bit tricky. It’s very steep and has blind corners. But there isn’t much traffic so after the first couple of trips up and down we were comfortable. The pool was clean and functional. The yard was overgrown by a foot when we got there. They mowed it half way through our stay. Local delivery drivers were able to bring us food we ordered with little problem. The beds were very firm and not too comfortable. Overall it was a great property but needed to have the smaller items tended to.

CASA LA CIMA, REVIEW
Beautiful home, well kept, even better than the pictures. I advice to rent a golf cart, we had to walk to the street to be picked up by an Uber, no one can find us. We were all very sporty so it wasn't an issue, my concern is if someone has a medical emergency. It appears the signal is lost, we even had issues with drivers from organize events. We hired an uber driver for the week, off Uber, since he was local, a gentleman and always with a positive attiitud. We were lucky. It is close to restaurants, highways, Jaco City, that is no the issue, locating the house it is a challange, The house is spacious, lots of light, bring blinders to sleep i you are sensitiive to the light, the windows all the way to the top don't have blinds. Beautiful pool, breathtaking and serene view, and extremely secure. If you are not in the lease, you can't go up, unless you contact the house manager, who by the way is quifck to respond. Tranquil Private Sanctuary
This place is amazing! Located on the highest lot in the Valle Perdido, it's super private, with gated security so you can really relax. The open spaces and natural light throughout the house make it feel so airy and welcoming. And the views? Unbelievable—360-degree panoramas of lush greenery and the ocean. You’re literally surrounded by nature, with iguanas, butterflies, toucans, and moths right in reach. It’s like living in a wildlife sanctuary. The house is really comfortable, with a bathtub perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. If you need it, there's AC in every room, but honestly, the breeze is usually enough. We really enjoyed yoga in the front porch. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Jacó for restaurants, shops, or the beach. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica, but still close enough to the action when you want it. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful house and property. Exactly as described and as seen in pictures. The house had everything we needed. Only issue I had was with communication and directions. We couldn’t find the house, The address that was sent was a dropped pin. The directions that were sent were not accurate and out of order. No one was answering the phone and or messages. We were lost and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. We had to stop and ask numerous locals for directions.

Amazing views amazing house
We had a great time. It felt like everywhere I looked there was a beautiful view. We saw toucans 2/4 mornings in the trees right next to the house. We really enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets from the top of the hill.

Amazing!
This entire house was beautiful. We will be back and excited to explore further. The communication was superb and they were super helpful. I would recommend this house for a girls trip, couples and family trip. The house is located at the top, so an experienced driver is necessary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is beautiful, clean, well-equipped. Views from every window and the pool/deck were amazing. There are restaurants and markets nearby..easy to get to the beaches and other sights etc. We were disappointed in our check in process. The link in the info provided does not take you to the entrance of the house. After trying to find the correct road, we found out it had been washed out a week earlier. We had a lot of difficulty getting someone from the local office to help us find and get approved to use an alternate route (through a separate gated community). After over 3 hours and the assistance of the guard at the gate, we were able to get to the home. **Ask for specific directions and road conditions before arrival** After arriving at the home everything was wonderful. Would reserve again.

House and view were incredible. House had no running water. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Vacasa found us a Condo to stay in. Booked and paid for a trip to stay in a million dollar home with private pool on top of mountain. Ended up staying in a Condo without a view. Very disappointing.
