"Our stay at the Encantada Arenal was wonderful Marty and Nita are super hosts, and their property is amazing! It was fun sitting having coffe in the morning and watching the Tucans eat the fruit off the tree outside the cottage. The views are amazing and the people are so nice and warm and friendly. The view of lake Arenal is spectacular and the volcano is amazing. There is so much to do there you will never be bored.We look forward to our next trip back to Encantada Arenal."

"Wonderful house and property in a rainforest setting. House has all the necessary amenities, comfortable bed. Marty was very responsive on WhatsApp and welcoming when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed all the little extras like the pool, hot tub, and nature walk. Would definitely return again!"

"If you value privacy and respect this is NOT the place for you. The Good: our family thoroughly enjoyed the Arenal area. Los Lagos was great for kids and adults. Hot springs,water slides and lunch, all for 100 bucks US. It’s a must visit. The area is gorgeous, if you have an extra couple of days it’s a great way to end your trip before flying home.The bad: This is ALL true. "We got there and the owner said our reservation was canceled and we never got to stay he said there was no booking and he said we just had to do without so we had to find a new place to stay he was very rude and I would not recommend to stay there."

"El sitio es muy bonito y cada día ves a un oso perezoso y ranitas en el jardín. Lo único malo es que en la habitación hay muchos insectos y no sale agua caliente en la ducha. El desayuno fue muy escaso (1 tostada partida por la mitad, una rodaja de tomate partido por la mitad y 1 huevo batido, y café..) nos quedamos con hambre. We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response."
