"If you value privacy and respect this is NOT the place for you. The Good: our family thoroughly enjoyed the Arenal area. Los Lagos was great for kids and adults. Hot springs,water slides and lunch, all for 100 bucks US. It’s a must visit. "We got there and the owner said our reservation was canceled and we never got to stay he said there was no booking and he said we just had to do without so we had to find a new place to stay he was very rude and I would not recommend to stay there."

"El sitio es muy bonito y cada día ves a un oso perezoso y ranitas en el jardín. Lo único malo es que en la habitación hay muchos insectos y no sale agua caliente en la ducha. El desayuno fue muy escaso (1 tostada partida por la mitad, una rodaja de tomate partido por la mitad y 1 huevo batido, y café..) nos quedamos con hambre. We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response."

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."
