"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. We could not drink the water from...

"A lovely cottage with a lot of character. Amazing communication and help from the owner. Lovely setting, near to a lot of places of interest to go with the family. Rooms are all a lot larger than appear in the pictures. Nearby field outside the village has a very friendly little horse too!"

"What a wonderful place! We are a family of four and were worried that our two boys would run out of things to do but they loved it! The garden is big enough to explore, play football, badminton and get lost in. The swing and outdoor shower were an added bonus. The house is perfectly located 1hr from Caen, 20 minutes from Vire and an easy drive to the D day beaches. "We adored this property! It was so beautiful and tranquil. It was so easy to travel to the D-sites and very close to Bayeux, our nearest gorgeous town. It was also very easy to get taxis. Even the drivers are really friendly. It was a very relaxing house. Fully recommend it!!"

"We have had a lovely stay, the house is great and has a lovely big garden. Ideal for the kids to play in. Lots to do in the area. Vrbo had incorrectly said there would be a hot tub, this has been changed now. Only thing that was not online and we found out when we were in touch just before traveling is that you have to ask for towels/bedding and pay separately."

The owner was great and answered qurues quickly. I am marrued to a beutifull swiis lady..who has high expectations regarding cleanliness.. And my farther was supposed to be visiting at 80 years if age in good health and walks very reasonably..and us slightly overweight..if he had arrived he would never have...

"Nous sommes déçus de l’accueil très froid. Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas en bas alors qu’il ne faisait pas chaud dehors . Et nous avons dû appeler avant la propriétaire pour le mettre en route qui a mal pris notre demande . Le forfait ménage nous a été imposé. L’extérieur n’est pas entretenu . Bref nous en gardons un souvenir négatif. Dommage car la région est belle."

"We needed 3 beds and 3 baths which this property provided. However, you MUST be able to navigate many stairs. A flight to get to the door, and 3 additional flights with a bedroom/bath on each floor and one floor being the kitchen/living space. The stairs are beautiful, period (15th) century stone - narrow and winding. We enjoyed the free exercise, but would be difficult if you couldn’t manage the stairs, especially with luggage. Location is perfection and accommodations were very clean. "
