"My daughter is going to Southwest Baptist University and it is conveniently located near the college. The breakfast was great and the staff was accommodating and friendly. I also liked that there was an Aldi across the street and also close to Walmart. The fitness center was nice and they had a pool. I will stay here again!"

"This was an amazing vacation retreat. The cabin was incredible with its warm woodwork throughout and was beautifully decorated with antiques, lending to the ambiance of a true cabin in the woods. It only gets better when you step outside and take in the stunning view of the lake and secluded landscape from the big wrap-around covered porch. Although the inside is warm and inviting, most of our time was spent outside enjoying the quiet tranquility of the nature that surrounds it. The cabin is well stocked with all the modern day amenities we needed. It was EXTREMELY clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom and the living room had a TV with cable access. The only thing missing was an indoor shower, however there is an awesome outdoor shower by the hot-tub, so just be sure to bring a robe! The grounds of the retreat offer hiking, fishing, boating and kayaking. The fishing was incredible. If you have little ones you want to teach to fish, this would be an awesome place to do it. Wildlife was abundant, there was even a pair of bald eagles who regularly flew over the lake looking for fish. The property managers (Cindy and Johnny) were incredibly friendly and helpful.
