"I was on a trip passing through several states and two days before my reservation the manager called me saying that they were having problems with the hot water in the middle of winter and that he could not rent me the room. I understood the case and said it was ok for him to refund the reservation, but to this day they have never refunded me. This is fraud."

Only a few minor things would make the stay a little better. Most of the tvs were close to the end of their lives. "We had an amazing time at the Big Lodge. It's secluded enough for privacy- a bear walked right past the front door- yet close to town for grocery runs and dinners out. "We spent a few days at Smoky Waters Lodge over spring break and had a GREAT visit! the cabin is exactly as presented in the listing. Everything was clean, organized, and no extra clutter in the house! It felt like a little retreat in the midst of the mountains. The cabin is only about a 15-20 minute drive from all of the events and activities you may want to do in the area.
