"We had a great time at Ranch Villa Arenal. The grounds are absolutely stunning and well taken care of. The house is lovely, though rustic and has no air conditioning in the common areas (just in bedrooms) and screens are only on some of the windows (so there were more bugs than we’re used to). The home is rich in history and has a very “Costa Rica authentic feel.” The master bedroom was recently renovated and charming. The home is centrally located for many activities but while it is set back from the street and generally quiet, there was a concert / party one night we were there at a school across the street that was quite loud until around 10:30 PM. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and came daily to clean inside and take care of the grounds. Very gracious and kind. "
