"This property was a distance from La Fortuna and other points of interest. That was what I was looking for. In Santa Ana, constant construction noises have been disrupting my peace. This place was beautiful and remote. Some mold in the bathroom, and my bed had some weird fibers at the foot of the bed between the sheets., so I was a bit creeped out . "My family of 5 loved this home! We stayed just two nights after staying near Manuel Antonio and then La Fortuna so we could visit the Blue Falls and have a short drive back to SJO - and then wished we could stay longer. The home is very well stocked, has several cute sitting areas, and is perfect for bird watchers. We really enjoyed a dinner in that the neighbor prepared for us. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations!"

The gardens are all overgrown and there is a swamp in the backyard that is infested with mosquitoes. "We had a good visit. Beds were comfortable enough. If I were to go back to La Fortuna, I would probably stay closer to the town. It was about a 30 min drive of country roads. The house was as pictured - but the first floor is only accessible from stairs that are outside- not sure why…but it meant we really didn’t use the first floor except for one dinner. Esp when we had pouring rain. We had to kill a few big water bugs / cockroaches. "

"I just can't say enough good things about our stay here. Beautiful people, property, and location. During our stay, we had a small medical emergency with one of our kiddos, and our hosts went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We are so very thankful! 10/10 we would recommend staying here if you are in the La Fortuna area! If we ever visit Costa Rica again we will be spending more time here! Thank You!"

"A beautiful view! The town the home is situated is very cute, friendly people, well appointed grocery store and a couple of great places to grab some local cuisine.
