"I was happy with the Sun hotel for the price I paid. It was relatively cheap and I thought the hotel was good value. It is a very old listed building and there are timbers that are hundreds of years old visible throughout. As a result of the age some of the floors and walls are uneven but this adds to the character. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty. "

We were greated by the lovely Katherine i think that was her name , who went through the welcoming chat and safety. Nice to be explained all to make you feel at ease . The room had high ceiling with just the right furniture, for what you needed for a night away & ensuite bathroom with shower & bath . Room was clean and bed comfortable. With tea & coffee facilities. "The room was nice, good layout, and the sofa area in the conservatory and outdoor space was a bonus. And it was quiet too, which I was worried about as it's a pub. The room wasn't super clean, there were dead bugs and stuff. And some of the room felt tired and tatty. But that wouldn't stop me staying again. However, the biggest issue was there is no wifi in the rooms, and the phone signal isn't great. As I was there to work it was a problem. "

"It's in a good location, and the flat is fairly well equipped, but the access procedure on arrival is very complex and the instructions are not very clear (we had top ring the helpline, and we could hear other arrivals doing the same). There are also some issues with the flat which could / should be addressed: the blinds in the bedroom are ineffective and let a lot of light in at night (they also don't give a great deal of privacy, especially when the lights are on inside). The bedsheet barely...
