"Lovely staff made it for us. The parking facilities are limited and although we had a place booked, it was taken very quickly on several occasions. Katya, especially, was a star when it came to sorting this out. A nice hotel with “interesting” decor! Not sure about the square mugs in the room! "

One of the owners, Ted Stourton always seemed to be around checking that everything was ok, even at dinner moving from table to table, engaging with guests. Food was superb although menu was small. Will be returning in the near future."

"A convenient overnight to attend a wedding. Staff were super helpful with an early check in to enable us to drop bags and change clothes before the service. Nice and quiet .. a sound sleep! Didnt book breakfast so unable to comment on this. "

"Lovely modern clean hotel, perfect for exploring the city, rooms a little on the small side but fine for a short break. Would definitely stay again. The only slight negative there was that an event on in the foyer one night which was very busy & struggled to get access to & from the main entrance, especially guests with their suitcases & dogs. Reception never informed us so we were unaware of the times to avoid. "

"All the staff we met were very helpful & seemed genuinely interested in us & wanting to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could. The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good. The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight. We enjoyed our stay immensely & would certainly go again but will give the restaurant a miss next time. "
