"Very clean and cute house. The only thing was the empty house next door, we seen a guy climb in the window and get a vacuum cleaner. Very strange. The property manager informed us she was going to have visitors so we didn't think nothing of it. Then we look out the window and a lady is walking around that empty house looking in the windows. Not sure if that was the property managers visitor or what. We did feel a little uncomfortable but besides that everything was fine. "

"The Nellie House is a good base for exploring Elkin and its eateries and walking paths and the surrounding area, including Winston-Salem. We visited when the fall foliage was stunning and enjoyed our time there. The house has plenty of space and a good kitchen. I didn't like that the dining table was in a nook off the living room, far from the kitchen, but that wouldn't bother everyone.
