"This is a great place in the forest about 25 minutes to some popular beaches. We loved exploring the area. The cabin was super clean and comfortable and the deck area is beautiful to have coffee while listening to the howley monkeys. The pool area is nicely set up for photo opps. The cherry on top is that they're pet friendly. We will stay again. "

"The property was definitely in the highlands. You should double check your gps and route since on more than one occasion it takes you through rivers. You better have a good SUV with high clearance. That being said, this little place was cute and clean. The pool area you need to walk down the road to but has a nice little area to hang out and be in the pool and has a good view. The area is very windy so you wil get lots of leaves in the pool but they do.try to clean out a couple times a day. You...

"I loved my stay at Pinilla Highlands. The views are amazing and the pool was perfect for a dip or to swim laps. The staff, Yuri, Hazel, and O'Neil, went out of their way to make sure your stay was perfect. It was so calm and serene. I went there to heal and received so much more than I ever would have expected. I went to various beaches most days. The only negative would be the dirt roads to get to Pinilla Highlands. I highly recommend this wonderful place to stay!!!"

"We loved the stay in the Villa at Pinilla Highlands. The place has a nice terrace with Canopy views to the forest with howler monkeys, kids loved it. The common area where the huge pool is located has incredible views of the valley and the ocean. The villa has two rooms with comfortable queen beds. "Let me just start by saying: You will need a 2x4 or 4x4 or AWD vehicle since it's dirt road to get to this amazing and beautiful secluded home in the Hills of Highland (About 25mins out of Tamarindo). Once you arrive at a Private power Gate, they have several modern homes with Unique names of each.
