"I highly recommend The Vintage House to anyone who is staying Pinhao. It is a lovely property with great service, very clean, good food and ambiance. We had an early train and since we didn't have time for breakfast, they provided a bag lunch for us that included sandwiches, croissants, pastries, an apple and water; perfect! "This is a quiet spa resort in the countryside. I stayed as it is dog friendly and needed an overnight on way through the area. Very nice place. A bit dated. Lots of people on package tours. "We had a very nice stay at this hotel in the mountains. There were some nice (though not easy) walks nearby me the hotel felt much like a wellness retreat. We opted for 1/2 board (breakfast dinner) since there were not a lot of spots nearby and the driving made me a bit nervous. The menu had good selection and I appreciated seeing wines on the menu from their Duoro vineyard location. "

"The tour around the town is really interesting, if you get the opportunity to do the private tour I’d highly recommend it, we even went into backyards to check on the almonds drying, and picked figs off the tree to eat. So relaxing and quiet. Dinner and breakfast in the Restaurant was delicious and the service brilliant, The apartment has subdued lighting which fits with the room but might not be enough for everyone, we would stay here again if in the area."
