"This is a mid-range, no-frills hotel that does the bare minimum. It is relatively clean and very quiet owning to its location. I like that we didn’t have to squeeze our way out of a crowded MRT station as compared to, say, the Taipei Main Station. The room we had was spacious and came with a bathtub. "We enjoyed our stay at Solaria, clean, nice location & very friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t like about the policy of the hotel is you have to pay $30 in order to check-in early. We arrived at the hotel early coming from a cruise but according to a staff the room is not yet ready. However the room will be ready if you pay an extra $30. This doesn’t happen in big hotels. You can check-in once the room is ready."
