"We (14 girls) stayed for two nights while visiting Geneva-on-the-Lake and had an amazing time! John made the check-in policy so easy and provided great recommendations. The house was right on the lake with amazing views. The basement was a great space to hangout and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need. The neighborhood was quiet, but not near the strip or wineries -- so a driver or ride is required. The ride is short though - so not a big deal! Would definitely recommend...

"We have been vacationing together for more than 25 years. This year we were booked on Anna Maria Island but Helene and Milton changed our plans. We found Highland Lodge and all agreed, we were meant to be here. The long weekend was a perfect getaway in a great house with hosts extraordinaire, Jim and Maggie. "The house was nice, lots of space. To get to the lake, you need to take a lot of apes, but they’re easier than most and well worth getting to the lower deck to sit in the chais and take in the views!"

"Very nice, well stocked, clean. Well water had an odor, but used bottled water and just quick showers. Just a suggestion to have wash clothes for showers and kitchen towels and wash clothes for kitchen. We had a very nice quiet stay and left rejuvenated when we left. "

"The host was very responsive to questions. Great location to wineries and great food in downtown Ashtabula. Beds were comfortable and large table was great for games and cards after visiting wineries. Would definitely stay again. "

"The location right on the bike path, tucked away from the road was great! Had nice weather so we were able to enjoy the fire pit both nights of our stay. The house was spacious, comfy and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our weekend getaway! Rebekah was easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. "This house was everything we needed and much more. You had extra items for storing food, plenty of towels and blankets and other ammenities. You even had styrofoam coolers for trade in your basement. That may not seem like much but sure is great out-of-the-box thinking. Thank You!!!"

It was one of the nicest places we have stayed within the15 years we have been taking these trips.
