You’ll love having an aperitivo under the stately oak trees, having breakfast/dinner with a panoramic view over the valley, relaxing in a hammock with a book, etc. Lots of great activities (hikes, historic sites, cute villages) in the nearby area, and that’s before you even get to the justifiably famous coastline and Maddalena islands (only 30 minutes to coast). "Lovely setting, very welcoming and a spacious room. The pool area and bar are the real standouts with the staff creating a great ambience. The hotel itself is quite isolated so a car is a must. The breakfast service was strangely dominated by a ‘Basil Fawltyesque’ head waiter who made the atmosphere of the dining room akin to the moon. I believe the hotel are aware! Overall recommended."
