"Nice quiet little hotel. Decent pool and sun lounger area, not overcrowded at any point on our stay. Room was large but very basic. Bathroom could've used a Hoover/clean - few dead (and living) creatures in there. We walked to the local town and hired bikes from the hotel to explore further out. Would recommend a hire car as not much to do in the area and cabs are rare and expensive. We drove out for a couple of day trips. "Lovely setting, very welcoming and a spacious room. The pool area and bar are the real standouts with the staff creating a great ambience. The hotel itself is quite isolated so a car is a must. The breakfast service was strangely dominated by a ‘Basil Fawltyesque’ head waiter who made the atmosphere of the dining room akin to the moon. I believe the hotel are aware! Overall recommended."
