"A very nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Very clean. The breakfast meals need to have more variety. Their phone system when you they ask if you need English speaking staff and you press the corresponding number, the line disconnects. You end up having to call multiple times and eventually pressing 0 to reach someone. But the front desk personnel are top notch. The Sky Bar at the pool was never opened the times I went and expected someone to be there. I wish they did have a place to smoke cigars on the property instead by the guard booth outside the gate. Very close to the road and lots of bugs there. But still, I would recommend it to anyone going to Costa Rica. "

"Our flight landed in the evening so we decided that we'd overnight near the airport and do the 2 hour drive to our destination the next morning. Just five minutes from SJO, this hotel is fresh and clean. The rooms are simply furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable night's sleep. An on premise restaurant was open until 11pm and provided us with a satisfying meal. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and friendly. This was the second time we stayed here. Whenever we need to stay near Alajuela this is our go-to."
