"A very well maintained hotel with extremely pleasant and efficient staff. We had 13 nights there during March and April as were back and forth to Hanoi. It's less hectic and quieter than the Old Quarter and never a problem to get a Grab. Breakfast is varied and suits all tastes. Lots of good restaurants also in the area. We'll definitely stay at the Oakwood on our next visit to Hanoi."

From the wonderful service and hospitality, the quiet room, the lovely breakfast with view, the comfortable beddings, lots of storage, the 24/7 front desk, the short walk to the lake, everything. The location also worked for us. We stayed in the family suite facing the lake with a large bakcony, and enjoyed having lots of light and view of the lake during the day and quiet nights with very limited noise coming from the street thanks to good windows. Wonderful find with high quality standard. Not the typical cheap tourist place. We will be back. "

"My 4 night stay at this beautiful hotel was beyond amazing. To start with… ALL the front desk folks were very accommodating and willing to help anyway possible. I was first met by the porter immediately while I was exiting my GRAB ride, then inside Max the front desk gentleman. A experience like I’ve never had before. The entire property is amazingly clean and comfortable. The hotel is in probably the best location you can ask for. Lots of coffee shops, eateries, pharmacies, grocery store all within a couple minutes walk Tay Ho lake is directly across the street. I can’t express it well enough, definitely an experience you will enjoy. Thank you to all the staff of this property. Without a doubt it will be my choice anytime I’m in Hanoi."
